Sponsorship
Why Should You Consider Sponsorship?See the results page to take a look at my successes to date, and please download my 'prospectus' as a PDF, that sets out the case for sponsorship. My successes so far have been achieved mainly through self-funding, persistence, tenacity and the support of others willing to give their time to enable her to focus on ‘ability’ rather than disability. Because I am over 25 years old, I do not benefit from the grants and schemes made available to younger ‘would be’ Paralympians. However, as many will be aware, dressage is not a sport that requires youth for success – experience can be an advantage, as witnessed by the very many successful mature people in the sport. |

I need need to raise at least £30k per annum to support my ambitions for London 2012.
By supporting me in this, you will be sending out a powerful message about your organisation’s ethos, commitment to diversity and corporate social responsibility. To put this is in context:
- £100 contribution will typically pay for the fuel required to get me and my team to a UK event.
- £1,000 will fund two month’s training with two of the top trainers in the country.
- £8,000 will cover all livery costs for an international standard horse for 12 months.
The Benefits of Getting InvolvedMarketing opportunities exist for incorporation of sponsor logos on this website and on my horsebox, which is regularly to be seen travelling across the UK / Europe’s roads and in-situ at events. Logos may also be placed on jackets, rugs and saddle cloths, providing additional brand exposure; and visits to the yard where horses are stabled can be arranged, with appointment. In addition, I will consider requests from major sponsors for her personal attendance at PR events in the lead up to 2012 – and who knows – perhaps afterwards too, hopefully sporting a Paralympic medal for Britain! – your valued help could make this happen. |

My advisors indicate that sponsorship will provide brand exposure to a variety of audiences. It is believed that many people exposed to equestrian events tend to be relatively affluent and discerning, purchasing high value products and services, and are generally patriotic and likely to ‘get behind’ my cause.
If I manage to ‘go all the way’ to London 2012, media exposure will be far wider than equestrian circles and could present significant PR opportunities, both in the UK and overseas.
It is worth noting that Channel 4 has secured the UK broadcasting rights to 150 hours of coverage during the event’s 12 days – more than has ever been screened in the UK and providing significant commercial opportunities.
Yes Please, Count Me In…
If you or your organisation is willing to consider sponsoring me in this major challenge to become a Paralympian for Britain, then please contact me directly.
Sponsorship, by way of direct financial support or provision of appropriate equipment or supplies, will be most gratefully considered.
